SEPTA Commuter Benefit

Edited

Tenth is providing a new benefit to employees. We will be allowing you to pay for your SEPTA passes or KeyCards through payroll deduction. This does not reduce the cost to you of paying for your transportation, but by using pretax dollars you will save the equivalent of your federal income tax and FICA rates. If you wish to participate you must have a KeyCard. If you do not already have one, you can purchase one directly from SEPTA at many of their stations. Once you have a KeyCard you should register it, setting up an account. Once you do that, you should follow the steps below to link your account with the Tenth account. Please note that our participation in this program is intended for those who use SEPTA to commute to/from work at Tenth.

In order to have fares (passes) loaded on your card for September, you will need to complete the process by the 20th. I realize that timeframe is short, but if you are unable to make that happen, you can get set for October.

Steps to follow:

  • Login to your account at septakey.org.

  • Go to My Account/Card Options (with the three dots) and select Link to Partner Programs. Enter Partner ID# 121817128810. You can use any username.

  • Then select a fare product or a wallet load amount, and submit changes.

More information is available from SEPTA here.
