Orientation and First Day
Forms
On or soon after your first day, you will complete various employment forms (most are online), including tax paperwork, a direct deposit form for pay (you will also need a canceled check), emergency contact, and other benefits forms.
In order to keep your records up to date, you must notify the Administrator in writing of any changes in name, address, telephone number, marital status, deductions, and other pertinent information.
Dress code
Employees are expected to use good judgment and common sense in presenting themselves as “appropriate” for their positions. Clothing, hairstyles, or personal hygiene should not pose a safety hazard or create an unacceptable appearance for our witness.
Parking
There are a limited number of spaces available on our campus. If a staff member needs a space during the week, the person is to contact the Facilities Manager. No overnight parking is permitted in those spaces. Exceptions to the overnight parking rule may be made for residents of 1710. Tenth is not responsible for any damage to a vehicle parked on campus, or for the theft of the vehicle, or any of its contents.
Identification
Our Director of Technology will take your photograph and prepare an electronic ID card within a day or two of your first day of employment on site (or at the latest, within a month of your hire if you are not a full-time staff member--typically on a second Sunday). See also our “Campus Access Policy." You should have your access card/ID with you when you are on campus.
