Global Partner Security Levels

Global Partners are people and therefore their information is stored in MyTenth. Partner information is stored in the Profile > Family Extra Values section and is only accessible to people with the Global role.

Partners can each have one of four security levels:

Level 1: No particular security

• Full names are displayed.

• Public location field is displayed. 

• Lat/Lng fields are used, or if blank, a location vaguely near the person's home address is used for the map.

• Website URL is on the website.

• Bio (short and long) are displayed. Whenever a security level changes, the Bio fields need to be checked. 

Level 2: No last names

• Same as level 1, except:

• last names are not listed, only first names. 

Level 3: "Secure Partner"

• Same as above, except:

• First initials only

• Public location is not shown. 

• Location on map will be from lat/lng ONLY, not home address. Typically, we put these lat/lng locations in international bodies of water vaguely nearby, such that it's ambiguous which country (or countries) are implied.

• Location on map is disconnected from the person's listing—that is, we can have a pin in the map, but it's not connected to the person's listing. (and there is no "Show on Map" button)

Level 4: We don't talk about them

• These folks are not listed on the website (or anywhere else) at all.
